Drivers can now access the well-established TransFollow Drive app features through any web browser, reducing barriers to adoption as European legislation accelerates transition to digital freight processes

Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 1 October 2026: TransFollow has launched web-based access to TransFollow Drive, enabling drivers to manage digital transport processes through any web browser without downloading additional software.

TransFollow Drive Web for drivers

The new functionality provides the same capabilities as the existing TransFollow Drive app, allowing drivers to follow transport missions, exchange data and documents with back-office teams, and complete electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) and electronic consignment notes (eCMRs).

It also supports timestamping, geolocation, and secure electronic signatures, with information available to relevant stakeholders immediately, both online and offline.

Alexis Perinet-Marquet“Providing TransFollow Drive through a web browser gives transport operators yet another simple way to digitise processes without changing how their drivers work,” said Alexis Périnet-Marquet, Managing Director, TransFollow.

“Drivers can access everything they need for a transport mission in one place, while information is exchanged securely with the back office and other stakeholders, reducing paperwork and unnecessary administration.”

The web-based option complements the existing TransFollow Drive applications for Android and iOS, as well as TransFollow Messenger, which allows drivers to interact with transport missions through WhatsApp, Telegram, or Viber.

The launch comes as European legislation accelerates the transition away from paper-based transport processes, including Spain’s mandatory digital Administrative Control Document (DeCA), which comes into force on 5th October 2026.

Under the new requirement, the DeCA must be available during transport and accessible to drivers for roadside inspections, increasing the need for digital documentation that can be located quickly and easily.

“Digitalisation only works at scale when the technology is straightforward for the people using it every day,” added Périnet-Marquet.

“Drivers already work across different customers and operational processes, and we should not expect them to continually adopt additional applications, usernames, and passwords for every transport movement.

“By giving businesses and drivers different ways to access the same interoperable platform, we can make onboarding simpler while ensuring essential transport documentation is readily accessible when it is needed.”

TransFollow enables the secure creation and exchange of electronic transport data through its interoperable platform, with access available through its API, Portal, Drive App, and Messenger solutions.
